Sphatik Mala
Sphatik Mala
A Sphatik Mala, also known as a crystal mala, is a rosary or necklace made from clear quartz crystal, called Sphatik in Sanskrit. It is considered highly beneficial in both spiritual practice and healing. Sphatik is a natural transparent stone believed to possess metaphysical properties. The mala is commonly used for prayer (jaap), meditation, and healing purposes. In Hinduism, it is particularly associated with the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity, and Lord Shiva for meditation and peace. Like other malas, a Sphatik Mala typically contains 108 beads plus one Meru bead. The beads in a Sphatik Mala can vary in size.
