Rudraksha Mala

A Rudraksha mala is a string of Rudraksha beads that is worn for meditation and other purposes. Rudraksha malas are typically made with 108 beads, plus one extra bead called the “Guru,” “Bindu,” or “Meru” bead. The extra bead marks the beginning and end of the 108-bead cycle. Rudraksha malas are often worn around the neck on silk, cotton, silver, or gold thread. Wearing them is believed to connect the wearer with divine energy.
